For Senior-Service Professionals

A patient, unbiased partner for the families you serve

Social workers, care managers, Area Agency on Aging staff, and fiduciaries need a referral partner who puts the older adult first — patient, no-pressure, and transparent. That's the standard we hold.

A care professional listening to an older woman at home

Social workers, geriatric care managers, Area Agency on Aging staff, senior-center coordinators, fiduciaries, and guardians all share one instinct: the older adult's best interest comes first. When a family you're helping needs to make sense of Medicare, care costs, or income decisions, you need a partner who is patient, unbiased, and won't put a vulnerable person under pressure. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.

When to think of us

Situations where a calm, plain-English conversation helps the families you serve:

  • A family is confused about Medicare timing or coverage — when to enroll, how the parts fit together, or how to avoid late penalties.
  • Someone is worried about paying for care without draining savings, and wants to understand what options realistically exist.
  • A surviving spouse is facing an income drop after a pension or Social Security benefit ends.
  • A client has questions about hospital or recovery out-of-pocket costs and which gaps to close.
  • An older adult feels buried by mailers and ads and just wants an unhurried, jargon-free comparison.
  • A family wants someone to sit with them through the actual decision and paperwork — not just a phone number.

What your client can expect

Patient, plain-English help across Medicare, care-cost planning, income, life insurance, and Social Security — at the client's pace, with no pressure and no jargon. We lay out the options, answer questions, and let the person decide on their own timeline. The first conversation is free, and there is never an obligation to buy anything.

We complement free resources — we don't replace them. Every family should know about their State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) and 1-800-MEDICARE, which offer free, unbiased Medicare counseling. We encourage families to use them, and we're glad to work alongside what they learn there.

How referring works

  • No cost to the family to start — the initial conversation and education are free.
  • No pressure, ever. We work at the client's pace and won't push a product or a decision.
  • Your role is respected. We support — never supplant — the care manager, social worker, or fiduciary, and we're glad to include a trusted family member in any conversation.
  • We'll tell you when it isn't a fit. If another resource serves the family better, we say so and point them there.
  • We never contact anyone who didn't ask. A referral is an introduction, not a lead handed to a sales team.

Our commitment to doing right by your clients

Transparency matters to an audience bound to neutrality, so here it is plainly: Perle & Co. is a licensed, independent insurance brokerage. Like other brokers, we're paid by the insurance carriers when a client chooses a plan — there is no separate cost to the client for our help. We provide insurance and Medicare guidance, not tax or legal advice, and we'll suggest a qualified professional when those questions come up. Our goal is simply to make a confusing decision feel manageable for the people you're already working hard to protect.
